When will I be billed?
Once your application is received, you will receive an email confirming your child's enrolment and the date that fees will be processed. Billing dates are dependent on the date your child is enrolled and can differ between states and schools. Payment usually occurs the week your child commences lessons. If you cancel during the two-week trial period, you will receive a refund.
Can I pay via BPAY?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payments via BPAY. We require payment via either a credit card or direct debit from your bank account.
Do I re-enrol every term?
No, re-enrolment for future terms is not required as your enrolment is ongoing unless you have requested to cancel. If your child wishes to cancel their enrolment, please let us know before the start of the next term.
I have a Creative Kids Voucher, can I use it?
Yes! For families based in NSW who have access to the Creative Kids Voucher scheme, please enter your voucher number and child's date of birth in the notes section of the enrolment form.
Where and when will the instrument be sent?
Once your enrolment has been processed, the instrument, book and music stand will be sent via courier to the delivery address provided. We will email you a tracking number once your item is dispatched and for most areas, your delivery will be received in 4-7 days.
I don't require an instrument, what happens now?
Our program is all-inclusive so there is no price change is you don't require an instrument. For Drum and Keyboard students, an instrument will continue to be provided at school for lessons. If you don't require an instrument at home, please enter this in the notes section of the enrolment form.
Is a payment plan available?
Yes! Our payment plan is set up as fortnightly payments every Friday. If you would like to be billed on our payment plan, please enter this in the notes section of the enrolment form. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the payment plan schedule. **Please note payment plans will incur a $14 admin fee.

What happens with the instrument in the holidays?
The instrument stays with you for the duration of the program so your child can practice at home, including during school holidays.
What else do I need to buy for the lessons?
You won't need to purchase anything else to start lessons as our program is all-inclusive with an instrument, book, and music stand. Any consumable items such as strings or reeds will need to be purchased by you as required.
We have decided to finish lessons, what happens to the instrument?
Once your child finishes their lessons, we provide a complimentary courier that collects the item from you or we can provide you with a purchase price, should you wish to keep the instrument. If you are returning the instrument, you will need to package the items for shipping.
Who is responsible for the instrument?
You and your child are responsible for the instrument, and it is important that it is looked after responsibly, treated gently and kept in a secure location. However, we understand that things don't always go to plan. In the event of a fire or theft, presuming the instrument was stored securely and upon receiving a police report, the instrument would be replaced free of charge. We will also repair most accidental damage, however if the damage is accessed and determined to be a result of carelessness or negligence, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
LESSONS AND TEACHERS:
When are the lessons held?
Lessons are held during school time. Once your application has been processed, your child's music tutor will email you the lesson timetable. If you have any concerns with the times allocated, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
How can I communicate with the teacher?
Your teacher will send you an email introducing themselves and you are welcome to communicate directly with them via email. Alternatively, contact our Customer Service team on 1300 858 911 or info@polygongroup.com.au, Monday – Friday (9.00am – 5.30pm AEST).
What if my child doesn't like the lessons?
We offer a two-week trial period which provides your child time to try the lessons and see if it is something they want to continue. If your child doesn’t wish to continue after the trial period, you will receive a full refund. After the trial period, it is a term-by-term commitment and if your child wishes to cancel their enrolment, please let us know before the start of the next term.
Oh no, my child is sick/on camp/holidays, what happens now?
Our teacher will be present for a minimum of 8 lessons per term or 16 lessons per semester. This schedule allows us to have extra weeks it the semester to hold make up lessons if required. If lessons are missed due to student absence, you are welcome to contact the teacher via email to discuss the possibility of arranging a makeup lesson, depending on teacher availability. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer credits due to student absences.
If our teacher is absent and unable to provide 8 lessons in the term, or 16 in the semester, a credit will be provided.
